LEFEET P1 Underwater Scooter: Modular Power for Every Adventure
What if one compact underwater scooter could take you from relaxed snorkeling to scuba diving, hands-free exploration and even powered paddleboarding? The LEFEET P1 is built around a lightweight modular platform that adapts to the way you explore—above and below the surface.
The P1 Standard weighs approximately 2.4 kg and is rated for depths of up to 60 meters. Its interchangeable accessories, wireless controls and multiple battery options make it suitable for recreational snorkelers, scuba divers, underwater photographers and traveling water-sports enthusiasts.
One Scooter, Multiple Ways to Explore
Unlike a conventional handheld sea scooter, the P1 can be converted into several different riding configurations. Accessories attach to the modular platform without a complicated installation process, allowing the scooter to change with your activity.
Handheld Mode
Hold the dual handles for direct control over speed and direction. This is the simplest configuration for snorkeling, recreational diving and first-time underwater-scooter users.
Dual-Thruster Mode
Connect two P1 units to a compatible dual rail for greater thrust. Depending on the complete configuration and water conditions, the dual setup can reach speeds of up to 3 m/s.
Tank-Mount Mode
Mount the propulsion unit to a scuba tank and control it with a wireless wrist remote. Your hands remain available for cameras, lights, instruments and other diving equipment.
Leg-Mount Mode
Experienced users can attach the P1 to the thigh for streamlined, hands-free movement. This configuration is particularly useful for underwater photographers and divers performing equipment-related tasks.
SUP Mode
With the appropriate mounting accessories, the P1 can provide propulsion for a stand-up paddleboard. Under suitable conditions, this setup can cruise at approximately 10 km/h.
Compact Size, Serious Underwater Performance
Divers can choose between the lighter P1 Standard and the more powerful P1 XR. Both versions share the same modular concept and 60-meter depth rating, while offering different levels of power, runtime and portability.
| Specification | P1 Standard | P1 XR |
|---|---|---|
| Battery | 100 Wh | 160 Wh |
| Motor | 500 W | 1000 W |
| Maximum thrust | 9 kgf | 13 kgf |
| Maximum speed | 2.0 m/s | 2.3 m/s |
| Maximum runtime | Up to 60 minutes | Up to 90 minutes |
| Speed levels | 4 | 5 |
| Weight | 2.4 kg | 3.2 kg |
| Maximum depth | 60 m | 60 m |
Choose the P1 Standard if lower weight and convenient transportation are your priorities. Choose the P1 XR when you need longer runtime, higher thrust and stronger performance for more demanding underwater sessions.
Runtime and speed can vary with the selected power level, rider weight, water conditions, temperature, installed accessories and battery condition.
Fast Charging That Works Beyond the Water
The P1 supports 100 W USB-C PD charging and can recharge in approximately 2.5 hours with compatible equipment. Its Type-C adapter also functions as a portable power source with a stated capacity of 20,000 mAh, helping charge compatible phones, tablets, laptops and other devices while traveling.
Integrated Protection for Greater Confidence
The P1 includes multiple layers of electrical and operational protection:
- Under-voltage and over-voltage protection
- Overheating protection
- Charging and discharging protection
- Over-current protection
- Clogging protection
- Riding protection
Always inspect the scooter before entering the water and follow the operating, charging and depth instructions. An underwater scooter should support proper diving technique—not replace training, planning or safe diving practices.
Traveling With Your P1
The 100 Wh battery supplied with the P1 Standard is generally the simpler option for air travel. The larger 160 Wh P1 XR battery may require approval from the airline before departure.
Battery rules differ between carriers and destinations. Contact your airline before every trip to confirm approval, packing and cabin-baggage requirements.
Who Should Choose the LEFEET P1?
The modular P1 platform is a compelling choice for:
- Snorkelers who want to explore a larger area with less effort
- Recreational and experienced scuba divers
- Underwater photographers and videographers
- Travelers looking for a compact, adaptable propulsion system
- Paddleboard users interested in powered cruising
- Divers who want tank-mounted or leg-mounted hands-free options
How to Care for the P1 After Saltwater Use
- Rinse and soak the assembled scooter in clean fresh water.
- While submerged in fresh water, run it briefly at a low speed.
- Remove the scooter and dry the exterior thoroughly.
- Remove the battery from the scooter.
- Allow the scooter and battery to air-dry completely before storage.
- Inspect the seals, charging contacts, propeller area and mounting components.
Removing salt and moisture after every session helps protect the seals, electrical contacts, moving parts and exterior finish.
