LEFEET P1 Lite: A Practical Packing Checklist

LEFEET P1 Lite underwater scooter

A compact scooter is easier to take along when the rest of the bag is planned just as carefully. For a weekend with the LEFEET P1 Lite, start with the setup you will actually use, then account for its handles, charging equipment and protective storage.

This checklist helps you make room for the complete kit before you leave home.

1. Weigh the kit you are taking

The P1 Lite main unit weighs 1.8 kg (3.97 lb), excluding the handle bracket. Its published dimensions are 272 × 84 × 78 mm, also without the handle bracket. These figures describe the main unit; they are not the packed weight or dimensions of your whole setup.

Lay out your scooter, controller, handles, bracket, cable, charger and case. Add only the accessories needed for the trip, then weigh the packed bag. For a tight luggage allowance, that final measurement is more useful than adding the main-unit specification to a packing list.

Do a trial pack with your mask, fins and other gear too. A case that fits the scooter may still need a separate space for the charger or a bulky mount.

2. Check the charger, not just the cable

The standard P1 Lite package includes a USB-C cable but does not include a wall charger. LEFEET specifies a compatible 100 W PD 3.0 charger for full-speed charging; its published charging time of approximately 1.5 hours depends on suitable charging equipment.

Before packing, check the power adapter you intend to bring. A USB-C connector alone does not establish that an adapter supports the required charging standard. If you are buying one with the scooter, review the LEFEET 100W USB-C charger with adaptor and confirm the plug arrangement you need for your destination.

  • Put the USB-C cable and compatible charger on the list as separate items.
  • Keep them together in an accessible compartment.
  • Allow time at your accommodation for charging instead of assuming every stop has a suitable power outlet.

The P1 Lite battery is built in and is not removable. Plan around charging the scooter itself; a spare removable P1 battery is not a P1 Lite charging plan.

3. Pack for one planned configuration

A modular product can tempt you to take every accessory. Start with the activity on your itinerary and identify the parts for that setup.

For a trip built around handheld use, make a list of the components for your chosen handle arrangement. Add a SUP, tank or leg mount only when that configuration is part of your plan and you have confirmed the required P1 Lite-compatible components. Check your selected package: optional mounts and additional propulsion units are included only when the listing says so.

A useful packing note has three columns: item, where it is packed, and which setup needs it. If an accessory has no planned use, reconsider whether it needs to travel.

4. Leave space for the return trip

Do not fill every gap with dry clothing on the way out. Leave a separate place for damp swimwear so it can stay away from charging equipment.

Build cleaning and drying time into your last day. Follow the LEFEET P1 Lite manual for maintenance after use, and let the scooter dry completely before storing it. The official guidance also warns against running the scooter in air; a quick dry spin is not a suitable packing check.

Your final bag check

  • Complete setup: scooter and all components needed for the configuration you chose.
  • Charging: USB-C cable, compatible charger and the appropriate plug arrangement.
  • Protection: a suitable case or protected compartment, checked with the complete kit inside.
  • Travel details: actual packed weight and dimensions. If flying, confirm your airline's current requirements for the specific device and its built-in lithium battery before departure.
  • Ready reference: a saved copy of the manual for assembly, care and operation.
